2019
Dear
Parents,
February is
full of various important events. We
have parent/teacher conferences, an in-service day, and a national holiday.
Our
opportunity to meet with parents/guardians is very important. We look forward to spending time with each of
you regarding your child. If you do not
attend a conference on Wednesday, February 13th or Thursday,
February 14th, please remember the channels of communication with
your child’s teacher (email or voicemail).

Keep in mind Partnership for
Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is in the month of
March and April. The PARCC dates will be
mid to late March and early April. The
PARCC scores help determine placement in future classes during the middle and
high school years, as well as a reference point in determining instructional
needs and abilities. It is extremely
important that your child is in attendance and on time every day of PARCC
testing. Please talk with your child
about the importance of PARCC. Many
research studies have indicated student success starts off with a healthy
breakfast. Please make sure your child
has breakfast every morning of testing.
Thank you for your continued support
and involvement with your child’s middle school experience!
Sincerely,
Susie Wickham
Principal
